History of the Organization

The organization began its work in 2014 as a volunteer initiative in response to the needs of children affected by hostilities in Donbas. The first directions were support for orphaned children, assistance to institutional care facilities, and work with families in crisis.

Already at the initial stage, it became clear that individual humanitarian actions do not solve systemic problems. This became the impetus for creating an organization that works comprehensively — combining social, psychological and educational components.

"Yourway" Through the Years

Status Volunteer Initiative
Focus Support for orphaned children in the ATO/JFO zone in Donbas
First Supported Facility Artemivsk Specialized Children's Home (children from birth to 4 years old)
First Major Operation
  • 24 children evacuated from Donetsk to Artemivsk

  • State refusal of assistance (no cardiac ambulance, election period)

Рішення: Agreement with the Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery, converting a volunteer bus into an improvised cardiac ambulance

Результат: 3 children were operated on in Kyiv, 8 received treatment on-site. The child with the most complex case, considered hopeless by doctors, fully recovered thanks to volunteers and found foster parents.
